I finished it today, maybe half an hour ago, it hollowed me out. Told my daughter about it and felt like I was going to cry. Not this, but we've lived through a version, and you reflect the mindset very well. It's like a brainwash, so powerfully controlling and frighteningly hard to undo. I'm being cryptic, no spoilers. Just wanted to say thanks for everything you write, been a fan of your books for a long time (and yes, I'm an adult YA reader 😊).
